Frequently Asked Questions
Q: What should I do when someone I care about is in jail?
A: You can give us a call at 317-522-7916 as soon as possible. Degan Bail Bonds will obtain all of the information about the bond and then guide you through the process.
Q: Do I have to come to your office first?
A: No, we’ll be glad to arrange a meeting where it’s most convenient for you.
Q: How much is this going to cost me?
A: Most of the time it will cost you 10% of the total bond amount. But please note, this all depends on the type and the amount of the bond.
Q: If I don’t have all of the money up front, will you still be able to help me?
A: We accept major credit cards, debit cards, cash, and checks. We understand that finances are challenging to most people, and we’ll work with you.
Q: If there is a warrant for my arrest, is it possible to make arrangements for my bail before I turn myself in?
A: Yes, we highly recommend doing so. This also helps to speed up the process, allowing you to get out and back in as conveniently as possible.
Q: If I am the co-signer, what will be my responsibilities?
A: When you sign a contract with us, you agree to have the defendant in the court on their court dates. This agreement will continue until the judge makes a final judgment, and the case is closed.
Q: What are your hours of operation?
A: We never close! You can reach us anytime day or night, 365 days a year.
